Holy crap!!!

Only 5 days left to enter the current PEOPLE’S PILOT and SPEC
SCRIPTACULAR writing contests sponsored by TVWriter.Com and
Manner Movie Ltd. of Hong Kong. Entries are due by the end of the
day, Friday, June 1st.

Yes, for those who’ve been asking because we’ve obviously been
unclear, you’ve got all day Friday to get this job done. Whew.

And, if you’ve never heard of us before, here are the important bits:

The PEOPLE’S PILOT is for spec pilot scripts for original series.
Supplemental material such as series proposals is all well and good,

but all entries MUST include a pilot teleplay.

Your series can be any genre – drama, action, sitcom, reality, game,
lifestyle, animation, kids’ show, you name it – and can be intended for
broadcast networks, cable channels, PBS, even local stations,
regardless of country. All we ask is that your entry be written in
English so we can read it!

The SPEC SCRIPTACULAR is for spec scripts written for current or
recent TV series. Your completed teleplay can be for any existing

drama, action show, or sitcom, or for an original TV movie in any
genre, and can be intended for broadcast networks, cable channels,
PBS, and local stations in any country (as long as your spec is written
in English.)

You can find out about the prizes and do the entry thing, blah, blah,
blah at:

Speaking of prizes, let me be upfront here. Sure, there’s money and some goodies, but the most important prizes any aspiring can get are public acknowledgement and approval, and, above all else,
professional credibility. TVWriter.Com gives you all those things
in spades. In fact, that’s why we exist.

Don’t just sit there. Write!
