Lou Stone Borenstein is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor, whose smart and dry-witted style earns the respect and laughter of audiences and fellow comedians alike. He co-created the web series “Is This Thing On?” along with fellow comic Paul Murdock. Together, they wrote, directed, and starred in the series.
Lou performs with the improv group Cherub Improv, appears in films and commercials, and has won awards and recognition for his writing. In 2009, he placed 2nd in the Sitcom Category of TVWriter™’s Spec Scriptacular and was a People’s Pilot Finalist in 2010.
So why are we telling you this?
Cuz Lou has moved to L.A., and if you’re in the area you can see him, live – and for FREE!!! – tonight at Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank. The show starts at 7:30 pm, and also on the bill are Kareem Matthews, Andy Hartley, and more great comics.
Kareem’s the headliner. He’s been on BET’s “Comic View”, Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend”, “Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen”, and at the Montreal Comedy Festival. Featured performer Andy Hartley has been on “Betty White’s Off Their Rockers” and was featured in the World Series of Comedy. But we at TVWriter™ are confident that Lou will match – oh hell, make that surpass – them both.
