LB Sees ABC’s KILLER WOMEN (Well, the 1st episode anyway)

killer-women-tvwriter.netBecause with a name like that how could I not?

Especially since TVWRITER™ buddy Sal Calleros was one of the writers working on the initial order.

I wanted to like this show but knew I wouldn’t. And guess what? My prediction sadly prevailed. Or to put it another way:

  • Um, the title.

  • Um, the title.
  • The production values.
  • The acting.
  • The music.
  • The (sorry Sal although let’s all remember that he did not – repeat not – write this one) story, characterization, and dialog.

In other words, not only does this show not deliver one bit of the sensationalism the very wording of its title promises, it also delivers absolutely nothing new, interesting, or even vaguely competent in the realm of ideas and the implementation of ideas via words. It’s just another cop show, this time about a female Texas Ranger who sure ain’t no Chuck Norris. No sex here, folks. No sense here either.

Well, maybe it gets better. I mean, I know Sal’s episode will be. But still, if I have to make a recommendation then all I can say is:

Click away, little bird! Click away!
