LB: I Yam What I Yam

The other day somebody called me a “grumpy old man.” (And no, this wasn’t the first time I’ve heard that. Not by a longshot.) I think it was supposed to be a pejorative, but I found both concepts – being “grumpy” and being “old” exhilarating.

To me, it meant that I’m self-aware enough to refuse to take any crap and that I have enough years on me to have actually grown up a bit.

Larry Brody has been profiled in such national magazines and websites as Esquire, Entertainment Weekly, Starlog, People, Electronic Media, IndieSlate, TechTV, io9, and of course TV Guide. A legendary figure in the television writing and production world, with a career going back to the late ’60s, Brody has written and produced literally thousands of hours of network and syndicated television.
