    You just can’t imagine how bad it is. It smells (and tastes) like soot outside. These are the highest readings ever. It got as high as 800 a couple of weeks ago (200 is considered extremely unhealthy). This week, we’re back down in the 400-500 range.

    There have only been, say, 7 days of pollution this bad so far this year. When the wind/rain comes, the sky is blue for a couple of days. And then the car exhaust kicks back in.

    No wonder everyone smokes here. The puffs taken through filters are sometimes as clean as it gets.
