The first work I ever published (and was actually paid for) was poetry, too long ago to mention. The desire to feed my family and accumulate such goodies as a string of Porsches and Mercedes (and bills) caused me to abandon the form.
Several years ago, when I was living in Santa Fe, I started writing poetry again. It was something I had to do, to fill a creative void deep within me. Since then, I’ve published four volumes of what literary types like to call “verse,” and the response as been truly gratifying. In response to numerous requests, I even had my first book, Kid Hollywood And The Navajo Dog, online for awhile.
Although legal considerations have forced me to remove it, you can now buy your very own copy of Kid Hollywood And The Navajo Dog and the other three books as well as E-Books in pdf format. I hope that those of you who read them will drop me a line. After all, more than my talent is exposed here. I’m also revealing myself, my feelings, my hopes, and my dreams.
That, however, is what I believe art to be. Many people have remarked that I write television to pay the bills so I can write poetry. But it’s just as true that I write poetry to cleanse my clogged soul so I can write TV.
I hope it does something for your souls as well.
- Kid Hollywood And The Navajo Dog
- The Return Of The Navajo Dog
- A Song Of The Spirit
- The Wind Of God
I used to sell all four books separately, for $3.99 each. The world being what it is today, however, I’m now of the feeling that all of us need as much entertainment and potential enlightenment as possible.
As a result, all four books are available now for one low price…$3.99.
