Former SPEC SCRIPTACULAR Finalist and longtime TVWriter™ supporter Sal Calleros has been writing away on the new ABC series, KILLER WOMEN. The series debuts tonight at 10 PM on the 2 coasts, and 8 or 9 in, you know, the middle.
Here’s ABC’s description of KILLER WOMEN:
Of all the notorious lawmen who have ever patrolled the violent Texas frontier, none are more storied than the Texas Rangers. But being the only female ranger in this elite squad isn’t going to stop badass Molly Parker (Tricia Helfer). Molly is committed to finding the truth and seeing justice served.
While she’s surrounded by law enforcement colleagues who want to see her fail, including Police Lieutenant Guillermo Salazar (Vic Trevino), the Rangers have her back, led by Company Commander Luis Zea (Alex Fernandez). Molly has also got her brother, Billy (Michael Trucco), and his wife Nessa (Marta Milans).
On the verge of getting divorced from her smarmy husband, Jake (Jeffrey Nordling), Molly begins an affair with sexy DEA Agent Dan Winston (Marc Blucas).
From executive producer Sofia Vergara (“Modern Family”) and created by Hannah Shakespeare (“The Raven”), step inside the dangerous world of the Texas Rangers from the female perspective and experience the arresting “Killer Women.” “Killer Women” stars Tricia Helfer (“Battlestar Galactica”) as Molly Parker, Marc Blucas (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”) as Dan, Marta Milans (“Shame”) as Nessa, Alex Fernandez (“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”) as Luis and Michael Trucco (“Battlestar Galactica”) as Billy.
Executive Producers: Hannah Shakespeare, Ed Zuckerman, Sofía Vergara, Martin Campbell, Ben Silverman, and Luis Balaguer. The pilot was directed by Larry Trilling. “Killer Women” is produced by ABC Studios.
Sal’s other credits include RIZZOLI & ISLES and FAMILY PRACTICE, so if you’re into binge watching, you can scarf up his talent (did we really have the crazy balls to write that?) at all the usual places (that would be Netflix/Hulu/Amazon) starting with those two shows.
Hi, Sal! Remember us the next time you’re buying/hiring, okay, dood?
